For Svg Fashion, 2024 was defined by transformative change. Across every aspect of our operations, we experienced significant positive evolution. This year marked a period of substantial growth and innovation, setting the stage for an even more impactful 2025.
One of the key highlights of the year was our commitment to innovation and outreach. We proudly inaugurated our state-of-the-art Experience Center in Mumbai. This innovative space allows clients to immerse themselves in the SVG Fashion journey, exploring our comprehensive capabilities from fiber to finished fashion fabrics. Beyond this physical space, we extended our reach nationwide, showcasing our latest innovations to brands through participation in prominent trade fairs held in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Tirupur.
Product development remained a core focus, and 2024 saw the successful launch of an entirely new product category: Woven Performance Fabrics. After extensive research and development, we engineered a range of stretchable woven fabrics that were previously predominantly imported. This breakthrough not only expands our product portfolio but also strengthens domestic manufacturing capabilities. Furthermore, we introduced a distinctive line of cotton-look knits, achieving the sought-after matte appearance and soft hand feel of cotton while retaining the high-performance characteristics inherent in polyester.
To support these advancements and enhance our production capabilities, significant infrastructure upgrades were implemented. We invested in specialized machinery sourced from Taiwan, specifically designed for processing high-spandex content fabrics, ensuring superior quality and efficiency. Additionally, the installation of new knitting machines has positioned us as having the largest polyester jacquard capacity in India, reinforcing our leadership in this sector.
Internally, 2024 was a year of cultural enrichment. We welcomed both fresh talent and seasoned professionals to our team, injecting new perspectives and expertise into SVG Fashion. Our office spaces were revitalized, creating a more inspiring and collaborative work environment. We fostered team spirit and celebrated achievements through events such as a fashion show featuring our own team members, a musical evening for the families of our factory workers during Ganesh Chaturthi, and insightful workshops led by renowned professors. A particularly memorable milestone was the celebration of our 40th foundation day, commemorating four decades of SVG Fashion and creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
Raj Rayon Industries, our youngest venture, experienced exceptional growth throughout the year. Completing its second expansion, Raj Rayon has cultivated a highly regarded product portfolio that is gaining significant traction in the market and receiving enthusiastic endorsement from our own SVG knitting team.
Looking forward to 2025, sustainability is moving to the forefront of our initiatives. We are committed to environmentally responsible practices, and as a significant step, we are undertaking a project to cover every available roof space across our factories in Daman and Ankleshwar with solar panels. This investment in renewable energy underscores our dedication to a greener future for textile manufacturing.
