THON’s annual Kids Fashion Show was a vibrant display of creativity and spirit, captivating the audience at the Bryce Jordan Center in 2020. Themed around “The Lion King” and a jungle safari adventure, the show featured children showcasing the latest trends and heartwarming stories.
Shiloh and Harper Crimmel opened the show with Lion King inspired music, sporting pink shirts and brightly colored tutus, showcasing their love for the Nittany Lion. Carly Wilfong followed, dazzling in a shimmering silver suit.
Eli, Ari, and Brooke then took the stage, sporting neon fedoras and capes, reminiscent of the Rat Pack era. Their coordinated outfits brought a retro flair to the 2020 kids fashion show.
Julia O’Toole, armed with a bright orange water gun and a colorful ensemble, announced the upcoming launch of her YouTube channel in April. Abigail and Naomi Regalado shone in sparkling, brightly colored dresses.
Daniel and Leila Testa, avid Philadelphia Eagles fans, delighted the crowd by revealing multiple outfits beneath their outer layers. Emily Schmidt followed, embracing the THON spirit with a classic, colorful outfit.
A large group then energized the stage: Elliot, Presye, Aliza, Eisley, Isaiah, and Piper Ross adorned themselves with colorful leis and tutus.
Maliyah and Madison Mehalick continued the show, with Maliyah, aspiring to be a future Nittany Lion, sporting a lion-eared hat. McKenna Speed opted for a simpler style, highlighted by fashionable cowboy boots.
Connor Rowan, accompanied by a friend in a lion costume, struck poses at the front of the stage. Devin and Trevor Pulaski, siblings dressed in vibrant outfits complete with capes and headgear, were lifted up by their parents, drawing cheers from the audience. Kaitlyn Good led the next group, adorned with a long, colorful feather boa.
Savannah Keenen’s classic tutu look and aspirations to attend Penn State Abington garnered applause. Alexia Maher sported a stylish tutu and dazzling glasses.
A’Niah Butler, expressing her dream of becoming Penn State’s first female football player, wore a tutu and leis, with images of her in football gear displayed on screen, electrifying the crowd.
Mckenna Voss showcased a rainbow suit alongside a family member in a dinosaur costume. AJ Bobby, with his twin sisters, sported tie-dye outfits with colorful fedoras and leis, striking poses on stage.
Maddie and Isabelle Yohe, adorned with long feather boas and hats, presented a classic look. Kaylahni and Nadelyne Laboy wore striking crowns, tutus, and sleek black outfits. Will, Mary, and Elizabeth Sunderhaus captivated the audience with colorful ensembles and stylish capes.
Claire and Hailey Seeger, in black-and-white outfits and Beaver Stadium-style shakers, energized the crowd. Birthday girl Aubrey Evans, in pink, stood out among a group dressed in white.
Angelica Zander, in a chic black dress with a red rose pattern and fuzzy black boots, made a fashionable statement. Mina Horan, celebrating her first cancer-free THON, graced the stage in a stylish white top and black skirt. A heartwarming moment unfolded as she was asked to be a flower girl in a friend’s wedding, prompting an “awwww” from the audience.
