The Fashion Report in Final Fantasy XIV is a weekly Gold Saucer event where players showcase their best outfits based on a theme for rewards. This guide provides tips and recommendations for achieving a high score.
The Fashion Report refreshes every Tuesday. Players can speak with the Masked Rose NPC at the Gold Saucer (X: 7.2 Y: 7.4) to receive hints about the current week’s theme. Judging begins on Friday, allowing players to earn rewards based on their score: a perfect 100 points grants 60,000 MGP and the “Fashion Leader” title, while 80 points awards 60,000 MGP. The Fashion Report is an excellent way to earn MGP, the Gold Saucer currency. Accumulating points also unlocks exclusive rewards from Kasumi’s shop, located next to Masked Rose, including sought-after items like the Spring Bottoms.
Participating in the Fashion Report consistently allows players to acquire unique fashion pieces. Remember to equip all gear slots to receive a score.
To achieve 100 points this week, consider the following: any dyeable leg piece for the head slot, the Toadskin Jerkin for the body, Velveteen Halfgloves for hands, either the Songbird Skirt or Uraeus Skirt for legs, and No.2 Type B Boots for feet.
For 80 points, equip the Toadskin Jerkin and Velveteen Halfgloves. These items can be crafted, purchased from NPC vendors, or found on the Market Board (though often at a higher price). Dyes are typically sold by NPCs in the main city-states. Gamerescape provides detailed information on obtaining specific items.
To unlock the Fashion Report, players must reach level 15 and unlock the Gold Saucer. Then, speak to Lewena (X: 4.8 Y: 6.1) in the Gold Saucer to start the “Passion for Fashion” quest.
