This guide provides a comprehensive list of over 100 Fashion Poses for Fallout 4, inspired by high fashion and beauty photography. These poses allow players to showcase their character’s clothing, armor, and body modifications with style and flair. They offer a diverse range of options beyond the standard poses commonly used in the game. Each pose has been carefully crafted to ensure natural and elegant movements, avoiding awkward hand positions, bent elbows, or unnatural joint angles.
To use these poses, open the console command, select the desired character, and enter “playidle xxxx,” replacing “xxxx” with the specific pose name from the reference guide. To end the pose, input “playidle stop” in the console.
These poses were created to address the lack of variety in Fallout 4’s default posing options. This mod offers a self-contained collection of stylish poses, allowing for greater creative expression in character screenshots and roleplaying. The poses are designed to be highly detailed and versatile, suitable for close-up shots and showcasing intricate outfits.
The poses prioritize natural body language and avoid common issues like claw hands or distorted limbs. Each pose is meticulously refined to ensure a realistic and visually appealing presentation. While some poses may appear slightly unusual from extreme angles, they generally maintain a high level of quality and anatomical accuracy.
The poses are primarily designed for slim to average body types and lean towards a feminine aesthetic. However, the possibility of including male poses in the future is being considered, depending on community interest and demand.
The standing poses are specifically crafted to be compatible with the High Heels System (HHS) mod, ensuring that characters maintain proper balance and avoid unnatural foot positioning. However, using high heels with sitting poses is not recommended, as it may lead to clipping or awkward positioning due to how HHS interacts with certain animations.
Some poses involving extreme leg positions may require disabling collision to function correctly. A detailed workaround for this issue can be found in the Advanced Tips PDF associated with the Action Poses mod.
Additionally, a collection of facial expression bat files is included. These files offer a variety of expressions tailored to different character presets and situations. To use them, place the .txt files in the game directory, open the console, select the character, and type “bat xxxx” (where “xxxx” is the filename of the desired expression). Use “bat neutral” to reset the face.
This mod focuses solely on posing and does not include functionality for rings or guns. Similarly, there is no official support for the Animation Advancements Framework (AAF), as its functionality conflicts with the mod’s design principles. However, community members are welcome to create and share AAF patches. Several recommended mods enhance the experience, including: SOE (for lighting effects), HHS (for high heels), and MFG Morphs List.
Special thanks to the modders who contributed to the creation of this project, including davethedrunk for pioneering posing techniques, deuce2416 for insights into facial expressions, and PK0 for developing the High Heels System. Additional gratitude goes to ToneTigre for designing an outfit specifically to complement these poses.
